Find the right book
As a licensed early childhood teacher and reading specialist, I know how vital books are to children and their development. Reading books with children is my favorite way to bring serious topics to their level and build a greater understanding of the world around them. Reading with your children develops their literacy skills and is a critical bonding activity. The more children read and listen to books and the more words they are exposed to, the more prepared they are to read and succeed in school.
It’s never too early to start reading with your child.
